Jama at Jama’s Alphabet Soup is hosting the Poetry Friday Roundup today. If you’d like to know more about Poetry Friday, click HERE for an explanation by Renee LaTulippe.

Hello, Great Readers of our series! Just In case you haven’t visited before, let me tell you a little about A Great Nephew and A Great Aunt. My great nephew, Landon (a seventh-grader) and I (his great aunt) collaborate. I write a poem which he illustrates. We started this collaboration in the fall of 2014 and have had so much fun with it that we decided to invite others along. Landon and I will continue to have a new episode on the second Friday of each month. The other Fridays are filling up quickly with guests. I have created a page on my website to view all the episodes of A Great Nephew and a Great Aunt. Click HERE to visit the page and enjoy past episodes.
My great niece, Klaire, is collaborating with me today. She is one of Landon’s sisters. She’s been in the series before and I’m excited to share more of her work with you.
The Poem
Klaire’s Art

Thanks so much for joining us today. I appreciate all of you who read this series. See you next week when I’ll have guest collaborators.
Oh this one made me laugh out loud, just what I needed after a long week. Love the Turkey, love the poem, I hope they’re going on an excellent adventure! I see a PB in this one!

Klaire drew one handsome turkey, didn’t she? And how fun that you have turkey’s roosting. I love that 🙂

They flew out of the tree all around me one day. Big, twenty pound birds, raining all around. LOL It was an experience.

Aren’t they? And every time they clamor I find it so amusing! I love TURK AND RUNT by Lisa Wheeler! It might be my favorite turkey getaway story. Thanks for coming by, Margaret.
