Hello, Great Readers of our series! Just In case you haven’t visited before, let me tell you a little about A Great Nephew and A Great Aunt. My great nephew, Landon (a sixth-grader) and I (his great aunt) collaborate. I write a poem which he illustrates. We started this collaboration in the fall of 2014 and have had so much fun with it that we decided to invite others along. Landon and I will continue to have a new episode on the second Friday of each month. The other Fridays are filling up quickly with guests. I have created a page on my website to view all the episodes of A Great Nephew and a Great Aunt. Click HERE to visit the page and enjoy past episodes.

Today is the second Friday of February, but you may have noticed the title of this post says Kallie and Penny instead of Landon and Penny. Something similar happened in January. You see, Landon has three siblings. A brother, Liam, and twin sisters, Kallie and Klaire. Klaire joined me in January and now Kallie is joining me for the February post. So today Landon has another Friday off and this episode is actually A Great Niece and a Great Aunt 🙂 I’m excited to feature Kallie’s art.

Kallie’s art is spectacular! Frog was royally surprised and she captured it perfectly!

Thanks so much for joining us for today’s episode. Please come back next week for another fabulous guest collaboration.

  1. Oh, I was going to compliment on the illustration with the poem, the many frogs make the poem even better, and love the way you “sprung” those words just like the frogs, and I do like it, but that second picture is a delight, especially the frog’s expression. That’s a new take on froggy princes! Thanks Penny. You have quite talented nieces and nephew.
